The American Airpower Museum at Republic Airport, Farmingdale, NY was the host to the various vintage craft at an air show over Jones Beach May  2011, dad was such a talker the whole weekend he had absolutely no voice by Tuesday from all the stories he was telling at the museum!

    The B-17 "Liberty Belle" Crashed and burned early this afternoon just outside of Aurora, Illinois. All aboard got out without any serious injury, but the aircraft was mostly consumed in the post-crash fire. Just a sad reminder of how fragile the old planes are. Kudos go out to the pilot who put the aircraft down on a farm just 500 feet away from some houses. See below link for the full story.
